What is acupuncture?
A treatment that works by increasing blood flow, nutrients and immune boosting cells in an effort to bring the body back to homeostasis or health. This can be used for various conditions and also increases feel good hormones like oxytocin, serotonin and dopamine which has been shown to boost mood, calm anxiety and aid in digestion. Acupuncture began in Asia thousands of years ago and has been researched and modified into a useful treatment that has been shown to benefit people with little side effects. People with drug sensitivities have benefited from acupuncture for it’s gentle yet positive effect in healing the body.
